1. Terminal 21

Any easy 3 minute walk north from citypoint hotel, Terminal 21 is 9 floors of retail space each designed with a different décor representing a different region of the world.  There is a supermarket, Cinema, Fitness Center and a great variety of restaurants.  Themes of floors are Los Angeles, San Francisco, Istanbul, London, Tokyo, Paris, Caribbean and Rome.  Terminal 21 is conveniently connected to the BTS station.


2. Queen Sirikit Park

is located an easy 2 minute stroll from citypoint hotel. Admission is free. The park is a great place for outdoor exercise on the one and a half mile jogging track around the lake or a leisurely walk through the gardens.


3. Soi Cowboy (3 Minute Walk)

is a 300 meter long pedestrian street with a total of about 40 small bars lining both sides of the lane. Famous bars include Long Gun, Tilac, Baccara, Midnite Bar, Our Place and Dollhouse. Soi Cowboy is a safe 3 minute walk from the hotel.

4. Exchange Tower

The Exchange Tower is located a one minute walk across the street from citypoint.  The Tower houses six banks and offers money changing with the best rates in Bangkok.  There is also a Starbucks, a Fitness Center and food court within the Exchange Tower.

5. Interchange 21

is located at the intersection of Sukhmuvit Road and Asoke.  It is the headquarters of Citi Bank and is accessible by pedestrian traffic from 3 important paths, Asoke Road, Sukhumit Road and Sukhumit Soi 23.  It is only a 2 minute walk across the street from the hotel and has direct links to the MRT and BTS stations.

6. BTS Skytrain Station

Located only a 1 minute walk away, The BTS Skytrain is the safest, most comfortable and convenient way to get around Bangkok. In service since December 5, 1999, it has transformed the face of public transportation in the Thai capital, for the first time offering both residents and visitors a comfortable ride through central Bangkok – lifting commuters above the chronic congestion, noise and pollution of the streets below.

The modern electrified trains transport Bangkok’s commuters in wide air-conditioned cars, saving them time with quick, reliable service. Currently there are two routes, the Sukhumvit Line and the Silom Line.. The trains run daily between 6:00 am and 12:00 midnight with frequent service throughout the day, increased during rush hours.

7. Subway Train Station

Located a short 2 minute walk away, the recently opened underground train system (officially called MRT – Mass Rapid transit) reaches from the Northern train station of Bangsue to Hua Lumphong main railway station in a loop, connecting with the Skytrain on 3 different stations, namely : Silom, Sukhumvit and Chatuchak Park.
